Since Wednesday we've been busy hosting. We have had some Spanish Couch Surfers staying with us, who left today. They were great guests - polite, cleaned up after themselves, were happy to entertain themselves or hang with us, and even fixed us a traditional Spanish meal one night. It was delicious! We have Couch Surfers stay with us on a regular basis now that we live in New Orleans, a city people are constantly wanting to come visit and see from a different perspective than just the party of Bourbon St. We have these guests so often that I've never even thought about blogging about it. The concept freaks some of our friends out, and others love it. Through Couch surfing we now have friends in France, Spain, the Isle of Mann, England, and Germany we can go and visit. We have had nothing but positive experiences having these guests find us and stay with us.

We have also been dog sitting Trinka, a weimaraner, for a friend. Ariyah is in 7th Heaven having a constant playmate and the two dogs have been running up and down and up and down our shotgun house chewing each other's heads off and jumping around. They're in love.
