Nasal sensation

I have a beef roast going in the crock pot - simmering away in beef stock, onions, carrots, potatoes, and quite a bit of garlic.  It's the perfect meal for this gloomy, rainy day we are having I think.  The house smells HEAVENLY.  Now if only I can keep from eating until small group in 2.25 hours.  The minutes are craaaawling and the smells just keep getting better.
